How it works: Two standard omnidirectional antennas are installed on the detector, which allows you to automatically detect drones at two frequencies (2.4GHz and 5.8GHz) when the device is turned on. The device allows automatic notification without operator supervision. When an intruder UAV arrives in the detection zone of the detector, it sends a strong sound alarm signal. The device can also be connected to headphones for more convenient control of the audible intrusion warning signal. Icons and dynamic alarm texts can realize automatic audible and graphic synchronous alarm. When the device is in a long standby mode without alarm, it automatically enters a low power mode, which greatly extends the detector's operating time. Detection Distance with Basic Omnidirectional Antenna: GHzPractical tests were made to detect the drone in the absence of strong interference. DJI MAVIC was chosen as a test drone. At a height of 100 m, the detector of quadrocopters can automatically detect an intruder at a distance of 1 km at a frequency of 2.4GHz and at a distance of 0.8 km at a frequency of 5.8GHz. Extended distance is possible in the following cases:1 ) Omnidirectional Detection: The unit is equipped with a small low gain omnidirectional antenna as standard.
