The GFX50S II features a 51.4MP large format sensor that combines with FUJINON GF-series lenses to produce incredibly high-resolution images.
The camera has a special system that, using small light-collecting microlenses on the sensor, increases the gap between adjacent pixels, thereby increasing the amount of light entering each pixel to achieve additional image clarity.
A large light receiving area for each pixel improves ISO sensitivity and dynamic range, improves tone reproduction, control of highlight and shadow clipping while preserving object texture, and captures the atmosphere of a scene in fine detail.
The large-format sensor's ability to maintain a very shallow depth of field blurs the background beautifully, adding clarity and drawing viewers' attention to the main subject.

The GFX50S II has 19 film simulation modes, including Nostalgic Neg., developed for the GFX100S, featuring high saturation and soft tones. You can use ready-made film simulation modes designed for various types of scenes and objects, while viewing the finished image in real time.

The GFX50S II is equipped with a 5-axis stabilization mechanism that achieves up to six and a half stops*3, the highest ever in the history of the GFX series. This is made possible by the use of a high-quality gyro sensor and accelerometer, which track movement with a high degree of accuracy. The design of the gyro sensor ensures high accuracy of motion detection and image stabilization.
This camera fundamentally expands the use of large format digital cameras. Instead of mounting it on a tripod for slow, careful shooting, the GFX50S II can capture very high-quality handheld shots thanks to its image stabilization system.

The fast and highly accurate autofocus system of the GFX50S II is made possible by the synergy of a high-resolution large format sensor, high-speed X-Processor 4 image processor, and the latest image stabilization engine.
