Описание Silberra ULTIMA 200 film is a high contrast panchromatic negative black and white photographic film with a nominal ISO speed of 200, on a transparent polyester backing for exceptional material stability. The thickness of the substrate is 0.06 mm. The special backing material with a hydrophobic coating not only speeds up the drying of negatives after development, but also prevents the formation of drip marks; in addition, the film does not curl during drying and can be placed in drying cabinets without additional weights at the bottom. The extra-thin film backing allows for excellent results in a hybrid process where the negatives are scanned and digitally processed after development. Otherwise, the ULTIMA series does not differ from the PAN series - the same emulsion is used for application to the substrate. as a result, every Silberra ULTIMA film has an exceptionally fine grain, allowing excellent detail and excellent midtone reproduction. At the same time, the dynamic range of Silberra ULTIMA films is significantly expanded, the contrast is reduced, and the contour sharpness is left quite high: this combination of properties makes Silberra ULTIMA films especially interesting. The film has a wide range of applications and can be used for street photography, for portrait photography, for shooting landscapes and architecture. High contrast emulsion can be effectively leveled using developers; depending on the developer and development time, the nature of the image also changes: from a brilliant effect in the highlights and a clear study of dark areas to a moderately even detailed image across the entire spectrum of shades and halftones. This film is optimally used in natural light; when using with artificial sources, we recommend that you shoot a certain number of frames in advance for proper work with light: due to its high sensitivity to red and infrared spectrum, Silberra ULTIMA200 film requires special attention when working with artificial lighting. These features of the film must be taken into account when choosing both the power of the sources and their position, as well as the color temperature of the sources. The Silberra ULTIMA200 film is able to produce excellent results in cloudy weather, in fog and at dusk: this is another feature inherited from CCTV films.
