Описание Silberra PAN100 film is a high contrast, panchromatic negative black and white photographic film with a nominal ISO speed of 100, on a transparent polyester substrate providing exceptional material stability. The thickness of the substrate is 0.1 mm. The special backing material with a hydrophobic coating not only speeds up the drying of negatives after development, but also prevents the formation of drip marks; in addition, the film does not curl during drying and can be placed in drying cabinets without additional weights below. as a result, every Silberra PAN film has an exceptionally fine grain, allowing excellent detail and excellent halftone reproduction. At the same time, the dynamic range of Silberra PAN films is significantly expanded, the contrast is reduced, and the contour sharpness is left quite high: this combination of properties makes Silberra PAN films especially interesting. The film has a wide range of applications and can be used for street photography, for portrait photography, for shooting landscapes and architecture. High contrast emulsion can be effectively leveled using developers; depending on the developer and development time, the nature of the image also changes: from a brilliant effect in the highlights and a clear study of dark areas to a moderately even detailed image across the entire spectrum of shades and halftones. This film is optimally used in natural light; when using with artificial sources, we recommend that you shoot a certain number of frames in advance for proper work with light: due to the high sensitivity to red and infrared spectrum, Silberra PAN100 film requires special attention when working with artificial lighting. These features of the film must be taken into account when choosing both the power of the sources and their position, as well as the color temperature of the sources. The Silberra PAN100 film is able to produce excellent results in cloudy weather, in fog and at dusk: this is another feature inherited from CCTV films. At the same time, the film has a very uniform sensitivity in the visible spectrum and is able to perfectly convey image details. Despite the rather high sensitivity, the film also has a high resolution: 240 lines per millimeter at a contrast of 1000:1 (TOC). The official acceptable sensitivity range for Silberra PAN100 film is 80, 100 and 160 ISO. At these values, the fogging factor and image quality will remain within acceptable limits. The use of yellow filters can significantly increase the image contrast, while reducing the overall sensitivity of the emulsion.
