The ToupCam UA1000CA video eyepiece is a digital CMOS (CMOS) camera based on the Aptina MT9J003(C) sensor (1/2.3\") with a resolution of 3584x2748 pixels (data transfer rate is 3.3 frames per second). With a resolution of 1792x1374 - 11 frames per second, at a resolution of 896x684 - 38 frames per second.
An external dedicated onboard buffer is added to achieve maximum USB2.0 performance.
Recommended for collaboration with Micromed 3, Micromed MET, Micromed POLAR 1, POLAR 2 and POLAR 3, Micromed I series microscopes.
It is used to display an image of an object being examined on a microscope on a computer screen.
Thanks to the adapters included with the camera, this camera can be used with all Micromed microscopes. The 0.5x eyepiece adapter has a bore diameter of 23.2 mm. It can be removed. The mount of the camera itself is standard - C-Mount, so any other adapters that have a mount of the same standard, for example, the adapter 0.37 and 0.75, will be compatible with it. The kit includes adapters for working with microscopes with mounting diameters of 30 mm and 30.5 mm.
The camera package includes the ToupView software on a CD and allows you to install the software on most computers. The software allows you to display the observed object on the monitor screen, scale it, take measurements, save for further processing both individual frames in the form of image files and their sequences in the form of video files.
Operating systems Microsoft Windows XP / Vista / 7 /8 /10 (32 and 64 bits), OS X (Mac OS X), Linux are supported.
The camera is connected to a computer via the USB port.
Installation of the camera does not require additional settings, which allows it to be done during operation. For microscopes with a monocular and binocular visual attachment, the camera lens is inserted into the eyepiece tube instead of the eyepiece. When working with trinocular models of microscopes, the video eyepiece is installed in the third vertical output - the visualization channel.
