The telescope kit includes two eyepieces (8 mm and 20 mm) and a 2x Barlow lens, thanks to which you can change the magnification by simply replacing the eyepieces. Well, for observing the Moon, a special lunar filter is included with the telescope. It will reduce the unwanted brightness of the reflected light from our natural satellite of the Earth. Installing the eyepieces The eyepiece is an optical element that magnifies the image created by the telescope. The eyepiece is inserted into the tube of the focusing unit, from which you first need to remove the plug. The screws must not go deep into the tube of the focusing unit. Insert the chrome part of the eyepiece into the tube of the focusing unit and tighten the screws. The search for an object should be started using the telescope's viewfinder. After pointing the viewfinder at the object, set the low magnification eyepiece (15x) and focus with it. The magnification can then be increased to 37.5x by changing the eyepiece as described above. If you install a Barlow lens between the eyepiece and the tube of the focusing unit, the magnification of the telescope will increase exactly 2 times.
