A complete power adapter for powering a light-emitting diode transmitted light source (LED) will allow you to observe in a laboratory class, where there are standard electrical sockets on the desks. Outside the classroom, or where there are no sockets, the built-in battery comes to the rescue, allowing you to take the microscope "into the fields."
The brightness of the transmitted light source is controlled by a dimmer, which makes the observed image clear and bright, but at the same time it is possible to choose such lighting so as not to overload the user's eyes.
A double-sided mirror can also be used as a light source. The flat side of the mirror is designed for uniform illumination, the other concave side is for focusing the light beam and brighter spot lighting of the object.
The microscope has a 3-position turret for objectives and 3 achromatic objectives with 4x, 10x and 40x magnification included. The objective lenses are made of optical glass and designed for a tube length of 160 and a slide thickness of 0.17 mm. The longest lens with a magnification of 40x is made in a body with a spring frame, which ensures the safety of both the front lens of the lens and the object from mechanical damage.
The school microscope has a monocular attachment with a standard tube with a bore diameter of 23.2 mm, which allows the use of not only regular eyepieces with 10x or 16x magnification, but also other standard eyepieces of the corresponding bore diameter. The eyepieces can be removed and using an optionally purchased video eyepiece (for example, Micromed Eureka 1.3 MP) display the image on the PC screen in real time.
