The digital microscope Eureka 40x-1280x LCD is designed for observation and examination of preparations in transmitted and reflected light using the bright field method - this is a serious observation device!
The device has 2 LED sources of transmitted and reflected light. Therefore, with this microscope, you can study both transparent micropreparations and opaque objects (at low magnifications). For example, microslides from the General Biology Kit Micromed or samples from the Micromed Mineral Stones Kit.
The microscope is equipped with an imaging device - a digital ocular camera with a 5-inch LCD monitor. The eyepiece camera makes it possible to conduct long-term observations on the monitor screen without straining the eyes, which is especially important for preserving the eyesight of schoolchildren.
A 5" monitor with a resolution of 480x272 px helps to carry out group work and demonstrations, since several people will watch the image on the monitor.
The control buttons adjust the settings for brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, as well as the choice of language and screen format.
Visible magnification from 40x to 1280x is provided by two interchangeable eyepieces 10x and 16x in various combinations with three complete objectives 4x/0.1, 10x/0.25, 40x/0.65 and a 2x Barlow lens. The large magnification range can be used in a wide range of applications, and high-quality glass optics ensure good image quality.
The spring-loaded frame at the 40x/0.65 objective protects the specimen or slide and objective lens from mechanical damage.
Visual nozzle rotates 360 degrees for easy observation and demonstration.
The microscope is suitable for teaching schoolchildren and biology students, lovers of numismatics or philately, for working with microelectronics.
Light filters located on a disk under the stage are used when observing very bright or transparent samples or when it is necessary to increase the contrast between the object and its surroundings. There are special notches on the disc, thanks to which the light filter rises exactly in the course of the illuminator's rays when moving from one light filter to another.
The illuminators operate on AC 220V (mains adapter included) or can be powered by three AA batteries (accumulators) (not included). The battery compartment is located at the base of the microscope stand. The versatility of the power supply of the lighting system allows you to use the microscope anywhere: both in classrooms and on the road.
The choice of the light source (reflected or transmitted light) is carried out by a switch on the back of the microscope. The brightness of the LEDs is regulated by dimmer knobs located at the bottom of the tripod on the right and left, respectively.
