The microscope is designed to study biological objects in the form of smears and sections. The microscope can be used for laboratory biological work at home, in schools, lyceums and preschool educational institutions.
The microscope is equipped with built-in illuminators that operate on AC 220V or on three AA batteries (not included). The versatility of the power supply of the lighting system allows the microscope to be used both at home, in classrooms and in field conditions. A convenient compact case ensures the safety of the optical device when carrying.
The microscope comes with a Barlow lens. Its main purpose is to change the magnification factor. For example, a 2.0x lens (as in our case) will double the magnification. The lens is installed in the eyepiece tube (in front of the eyepiece).
LED light source
Thanks to the development of technology, LEDs have come close in terms of the “quality” of light to incandescent lamps, while at the same time having undeniable advantages, such as an extremely long operating time (from 20,000 hours); quick on/off; extremely low power consumption, up to 1/10 of the energy consumption of a conventional lamp; compact dimensions and absolute insensitivity to shaking.

LED illuminators allow you to quickly adjust the lighting.
The illuminator has a smooth brightness control; when working with high magnification lenses, higher brightness is required to obtain good image quality, and when working with a low magnification lens, it is necessary to reduce the illumination of the object.
The reflected light illuminator makes it possible to study opaque flat objects at low magnifications of lenses.
The illuminators operate on a 220V mains (via an adapter included in the kit) and on AA batteries (not included in the kit), which makes it possible to use the microscope at home, in the classroom, and in the field.
The mechanism of the limiter (stop) and the spring-loaded frame at the 40x lens provide protection from mechanical damage to the front lens of the lens and the object.
Spring-loaded terminals allow convenient positioning of the specimen on the stage.
The durability and accuracy of fixing the moving part of the revolver is ensured by the use of special lubrication of steel elements.
