Micromed Atom 40x-640x (amethyst) is a children's microscope with adult capabilities for studying the microworld. The device allows you to study transparent and translucent biological objects in transmitted light: thin sections, films, flakes, various liquids. Objectives with a magnification of 4, 10 and 40 times are placed on a revolving device, by turning which you can change the lens right in the process of observation. The zoom eyepiece provides magnification from 10x to 16x. As a result, when choosing different objectives, the magnification of the microscope will be 40-64x, 100-160x and 400-640x, which will allow you to examine in detail both pollen from a moth wing and a fish fin.
