Photos or videos can be saved to a CD-card (there is a slot) or broadcast to external devices. The HDMI interface allows you to transfer copy-protected digital data without compressing the original files (sound or high-definition HD video). The XcamView program is used for control, and the toolbar and camera control panel are displayed on the display of the connected device. A feature of the camera is the motion autofocus mode, which works with an HDMI connection. This allows you to get a clear picture without manually focusing the microscope. Through the USB 2.0 interface, the camera can be connected to a computer to transfer data to a disk (USB cable included), connect a wireless mouse or Wi-Fi adapter. The one-piece cast aluminum housing has no moving parts and is designed for long-term operation even at low temperatures (down to -10°C). The IR-cut filter built into the protective glass of the matrix does not transmit infrared radiation with a wavelength of more than 650 nm. An external power supply (included) is connected via the DC12V socket. Pay attention! The presence of broken (dark) and hot (always luminous) pixels is allowed in an amount not exceeding 0.3% of the full resolution of the matrix. Field of view and resolutionTo evaluate the field of view, the formula F≈ L/(a*b) is used, where F is the field of view (mm), L is the sensor size, a is the lens magnification, b is the adapter magnification.
