The biological microscope Micromed 3 (U3) with a trinocular visual attachment is designed for observation and morphological studies of preparations in transmitted light using the bright field method.
Together with optional accessories purchased separately, the microscope can be used for dark field, phase contrast and simple polarization studies.
The microscope can be used in various fields of medicine (hematology, dermatology, urology, pulmonology, etc.) for diagnostic studies in clinics and hospitals. The microscope can be used to study stained and unstained biological objects in the form of smears and sections.
The Micromed 3 microscope is available in various configurations - there is a Micromed 3 (U2) variant with a binocular visual attachment.
The microscope is designed for the length of the tube "infinity", the objectives of the DIN standard - the parfocal height of the objectives is 45 mm.
Revolver for 5 objectives, four 4x/0.13 plan objectives included; 10x/0.25; 40x/0.65; 100x/1.25 (oil) with a cover slip thickness correction of 0.17 mm. Additionally, you can purchase a lens that the laboratory assistant will choose from a line of lenses, depending on the task of observation - 2x / 0.06; 20x/0.45; 60x/0.80.
Objectives with 4x and 10x magnification can be used for navigating the preparation, studying the surface texture, structure of the object, and 40x and 100x for studying the structure of cells. The 100x lens requires the use of immersion oil, which is also included.
In addition to the complete WF 10x/22 wide-field eyepieces with a magnification of 10x and a field of view diameter of 22 mm, you can purchase WF 16x/13 eyepieces with a higher magnification. Landing diameter is 30 mm.
Replaceable illuminators - halogen and LED - act as sources of transmitted light in the microscope. A halogen illuminator will produce light that is more familiar to the eye. The LED illuminator does not heat up and can work for a long time. The illuminators can be changed for various examinations according to one's own preferences - quickly and without additional adjustments.
An adjustable field diaphragm is installed on the microscope stand above the light source, which, together with the illuminator and the Abbe bright field condenser, constitute the Köhler illumination system, which makes it possible to adjust uniform illumination.
A centerable Abbe bright-field condenser with a bladed aperture diaphragm helps to form a directional beam of light of the desired diameter, thus adjusting the illumination contrast. The largest numerical aperture of the condenser is 1.25 (a convenient adjustment scale is applied to the condenser), the range of movement in height is 19 mm.
Light filters (matte white, blue, green, yellow) are installed on the collector and are used to increase the image contrast of various preparations.
