The Creality Ender 6 3D printer is the 2020 progressive novelty on the CORE XY kinematics, the first of its kind from Creality 3D. The printer was announced in the middle of the year and went on sale recently. The manufacturer managed to achieve a significant increase in printing speed, improve its accuracy and ease of use with the printer, thanks to new electronics. With its high performance and wide functionality, this printer is perfect for home use, prototyping and small business in the manufacturing field. The new model shows really outstanding results even compared to the successful previous generation model. It uses CORE XY kinematics on rollers and with two stepper motors, which significantly reduces vibration when the carriage moves. A high-quality design made it possible to increase the print speed up to 150 mm/s, which is an excellent indicator for this class of devices. The hot table with a maximum temperature of 100 ° C moves on two shafts and is made of glass with the addition of silicon carbide. This decision increased its strength, thermal conductivity and adhesive properties. The Bowden filament feed scheme was upgraded in order to increase print speed without sacrificing quality. Compared to previous models, the mass of the print head has become significantly less, since the feed mechanism with a stepper motor is now placed separately. In addition to the fact that the printing process accelerated, this allowed to reduce vibration and inertia of the head. The maximum temperature of the hot end is quite sufficient to work with the main types of filament - 260 ° C. The printer received an all-metal chassis made of extruded aluminum profiles. In the model presented here, it forms a closed working chamber, thanks to transparent acrylic panels and allows you to effectively use "capricious" plastics prone to high heat shrinkage. The construction area of the novelty is 250 x 250 x 400 mm. All these innovations required changes in the hardware. The Creality Ender 6 3D printer boasts electronics that provide positioning tolerances of no more than 0.1mm.
