The FlashForge Guider IIs 3D printer is a development of the ideas implemented in the successful Guider II model. The extended features that the updated Hyder offers us allow us to classify it as a semi-professional device that can be used both at home or in education, as well as in the field of additive manufacturing. Something has remained unchanged: a volumetric construction area with dimensions of 280x250x300 mm , fully enclosed housing. Like the previous version, this printer allows you to create large objects without gluing, and it does it surprisingly quickly: the print speed reaches 200 mm / s. The first and very important change in FlashForge Guider IIs affected the extruder. It still has a maximum temperature of 300°C and 4-sided airflow, but now it has reduced the distance between the feeder and the hot end. This effectively solves the problem of working with flexible plastics: the new extruder is optimized for printing TPU and TPE materials, and there is no fear of soft filament getting stuck or clogging the nozzle. The maximum temperature of the hot table remained unchanged - 120 °C. Thanks to all this, the set of available printing materials for Hyder 2s has become even wider, including PLA, ABS, PETG, Carbon, Nylon, PC, FLEX and many other interesting thermoplastics. A proven 5-inch touchscreen with an intuitive a clear interface that allows you to quickly set the printing parameters and start it in just 4 clicks. To connect a 3D printer and transfer data, you can use USB 3.0, Ethernet (LAN) and Wi-Fi. Another innovation of FlashForge Guider IIs concerns just managing the printing process. The printer is equipped with an HD camera right out of the box, which allows online monitoring of the entire process from a smartphone or tablet. To connect, the company's FlashCloud cloud service is used, through which printing can be remotely started, paused or stopped. By the way, you can connect several devices to the cloud at once and manage or simultaneously. This is a very useful feature for any kind of mass production. The developers have applied another innovation. It does not directly affect the print quality, but it makes the printer more comfortable than before. The Guider 2s has been upgraded with an air filter and fan to remove toxic fumes from the air. Makers who often deal with ABS and similar plastics will certainly appreciate this feature. In terms of electronics, the new printer sets the bar high. It has an automatic calibration function, a thread end sensor and the ability to save progress and resume printing in case of a sudden power loss.
