For the destruction of ectoparasites, the treatment of dogs is carried out once. Repeated processing of animals is carried out according to entomological indications, but not more than once a month. In the treatment of allergic dermatitis caused by insects, it is advisable to use the drug in combination with drugs for pathogenetic and symptomatic therapy. SIDE EFFECTS As a rule, there are no side effects and complications when using Prak-Tik in accordance with this instruction. In rare cases, after using the drug in some animals, individual skin reactions (redness, itching) are possible, which spontaneously disappear within 1 to 4 days and do not require the use of drugs. In case of overdose, neurological symptoms are noted: impaired coordination, tremor, shortness of breath, hypersalivation (when the drug is licked off), which also spontaneously disappear within a few hours. CONTRAINDICATIONS Increased individual sensitivity to the drug. Do not use in patients with infectious diseases and recovering animals, as well as dogs weighing less than 2 kg and puppies under 8 weeks of age. Processing puppies and lactating bitches should be carried out under the supervision of a veterinarian. The practitioner should not be applied to wet or damaged skin, and should not be used simultaneously with other insecticide-acaricidal preparations. It is not recommended to wash the animal with detergent for 48 hours before treatment. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS During processing it is forbidden to smoke, drink and eat food. At the end of the procedure, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes, it should be washed off immediately with a stream of water.
