It inhibits the activity of various tissue-destroying enzymes - proteases and nucleases, matrix metalloproteinases, hyaluronidase, phospholipase, etc., inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, kinins, leukotrienes and other inflammatory mediators from arachidonic acid.
