Pneumatic axial traverse TPO-400 (ditch lift) is designed for hanging the wheels of cars and light trucks weighing up to 4 tons. TPO-400 is widely used for adjusting the camber-toe angle and for servicing and repairing the running gear of vehicles. The traverse can be installed on any lift, both on a four-column and on a pantograph type lift, as well as on inspection pits of appropriate sizes and structures that are equipped with paths for the movement of the traverse. An angle with a shelf width of at least 50 mm or a channel is used as paths. The relative lifting height is 300 mm. The traverse is equipped with retractable paws, at the ends of which there are threaded stops. By unscrewing the stop rod, increase the height of the car. Having installed a rubber "cushion" in the center of the guide box, they raise the car in the center. The traverse is equipped with two taps with fittings for a quick-release connection. Supplied fully assembled by the manufacturer. The hoist is placed on the movable tracks (if necessary, the track width can be adjusted) and the safety screws are tightened. It is also possible to adjust the clearance of the traverse by moving the rollers higher or lower. For this, three holes are provided with a step of 50 mm. Having installed the traverse in the required place (under the car), supply compressed air to the inlet valve (the second valve must be closed). After the car is raised to the required height, shut off the air supply with a valve and insert the locking pin into the corresponding hole on the lifting rod. Lowering the car is done in reverse order.
