In the SU-6 seeder, vacuum is created by the VR-1 fan installed on the seeder, driven by the tractor PTO. The bearing beam of the seeder frame is the receiver of its pneumatic system. The seeder is completed with plastic grain and fertilizer bunkers. SU-6 is intended for work in all soil and climatic zones, except for the zone of mountain farming. The seeder is equipped with a unified system for monitoring the technological parameters of sowing machines, which allows the machine operator to control the process of sowing seeds, the level of seeds and mineral fertilizers in the bunkers. The principle of the seeder is as follows. By means of the gear mechanism from the support-drive wheels, the seed discs and augers of the fertilizer seeders are rotated. With the help of vacuum, the seeds are sucked to the openings of the rotating disk located in the discharge zone and transported from the intake chamber to the discharge zone. Removing excess seeds stuck to the holes back into the intake chamber is carried out with a dropping fork. The coulter makes a groove, first lays the fats, they are sprinkled with earth and then, into the groove, the seeds fall so that there is no contact between the seeds and the fats. The harrows close the furrow, the press wheel compacts the soil, creating contact between the seeds and the soil and conditions for pulling moisture for them, and the trail levels the surface of the field and creates a mulched layer of soil.
