The ST-01 Pro is a compact device from Douk Audio that combines a tube amplifier with output power up to 100 watts per channel, a DAC with support for Hi-Res 24/192 signal decoding and a Bluetooth receiver. The updated Pro model features USB music playback, a VU meter sensitivity adjustment screw, and a redesigned design. The device supports connection to sources using standard RCA, as well as operation in DAC mode via Bluetooth, USB, optical S / PDIF and coaxial input. To connect passive speakers, twist-on connectors are provided, in addition, Douk Audio has implemented a line output for connecting active acoustics. In addition to the wide possibilities in connecting sources and acoustics, the amplifier features a built-in VU-meter, a tone block for adjusting high and low frequencies, as well as the ability to control playback using the remote control. The kit includes everything you need to get started, including a 24V / 4.5A power supply. Douk Audio ST-01 Pro hybrid amplifier circuit with a chip from the American company Texas instruments TPA3221 provides high output power up to 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms , while the output signal has a low level of distortion. The device supports speakers with impedance from 4 to 8 ohms, as well as the connection of an active audio system or subwoofer through a line output. A distinctive feature of the Douk Audio ST-01 tube amplifier is the built-in DAC, which supports decoding of high-quality sound with a bit depth of up to 24 bits, at a sampling rate of 192 kHz, which allows you to listen to recordings with all the smallest details. Using the built-in DAC allows you to connect to Douk Audio ST-01 Pro a large number of different devices. In addition to analog RCA input, the amplifier supports wired PC connection via USB, S/PDIF optical audio and coaxial input. This set of interfaces ensures stable operation with TVs, media players, computers and smartphones, while the sound quality will always remain high through the use of a single device connected directly to the source. For a wireless connection with the Douk Audio DAC, we used a modern Bluetooth 5.0 module with the ability to connect an external antenna. The amplifier case is made of metal, with cutouts for installing lamps on the top. On the front panel of the Douk audio ST-01 Pro there is a VU meter, indicators that let you know which source is currently being used, as well as two knobs that are responsible for adjusting the timbre of high and low frequencies. Above them is a knob for adjusting the overall volume, it is also responsible for turning on the amplifier and switching sources. The lamps are illuminated in a pleasant orange color when the amplifier is operating.
