Next-generation network audio combines Chromecast built-in, Sonos, AirPlay 2, and DTS Play-Fi® compatibility with streaming services for smooth, multi-room audio built with support for the new high-speed 802.11ac (2x2 MIMO) Wi-Fi® specification. Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® draw audiences into movies and games. If 5.2.2 channel tuning is not possible, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X™ can create a 3D sound field from horizontal speaker positions. With an upgraded DAA system, 8K/60p/4K/120p/HDR HDMI® connections, and many additional features, this product excels.
Works with Sonos
The Onkyo TX-NR6100 can join an existing Sonos Home sound system or start a new one by simply connecting it to a Sonos Connect device. The AV receiver connects to the Sonos ecosystem, wakes up, changes inputs, and plays at the desired volume level when commanded from the Sonos app.
